1. Weigh and measure yourself before you start dieting. You'll be able to compare how you're doing as you diet. Sometimes the scales won't show any loss, but a tape measure might.

2. Don't weigh yourself every day. Its too scary! And not productive at all. Weigh yourself at the same time every week. (Perhaps in the ad break of that soap you always watch??)

3. Don't feel you have to share your weight loss every week with anyone. Sometimes its easier if people don't know you're dieting. If you've had a bad week the last thing you want is people quizzing you on how you've done.

4. Accept that you can't lose weight instantly. If it was possibly then no one would be overweight.

5. Dieting isn't just for the duration of the diet. If you're learning nothing about eating properly then there isn't much point in doing the "diet" as you'll only put it all back on when you stop. You must learn to re-educate your body about eating.

6. Chocolate is allowed on diets. Just not very much. Ditto chips.

7. Yes, food does count even if you pinch it off someone elses plate.

8. You don't have to exercise to lose weight, but you should.

9. Having a wee before you weigh yourself doesn't make much difference.

10. Having a haircut on a bad week won't really help the scales go down either.

I hate starting diets on a Monday as after a weekend of drinking and eating
you get on the scales and start feeling sorry for your self for not being
good while being of work. So this is why Tuesday is always my starting

1.if you feel like eating crisps trying eating squares,french fries,or
squares as there is half the fat that is in normal crisps etc walkers.

2.if you want something refreshing and cold you could try ice lollies as
with a lot of brands they can contain very little cals and NO FAT.
